EzParts Electronic Parts Catalog Software.


Customer does not see models and schematics in EzParts electronic parts catalog software 5.0. When he selects the necessary model/schematic from the Navigation Tree, he can see only blank space in Resource Display Area. 

To solve this issue perform the following steps:

  1. Log off EzParts electronic parts catalog software.
  2. Insert the first Manufacturer EzParts electronic parts catalog software DVD into the DVD-drive.
  3. Open the DVD with EzParts electronic parts catalog software distribution files using Windows explorer.
  4. Navigate to the soft folder and run vcredist_x86.exe.
  5. In the window appearing after the file extraction select Repair radio button.
  6. Click Finish on the Setup Complete window.

If this solution doesn't help try to copy resourses manually from the DVDs:  

  1. Open Resources folder from first DVD (there you will see Images and Shell folders).
  2. Highlight both Images and Shell folders (Edit –> Select All in Explorer main menu or press Ctrl+A combination on your keyboard).
  3. Copy them (Edit –> Copy in Explorer main menu or press Ctrl+C combination on your keyboard).
  4. Go to My computer –> Local Disk C –> EzParts5.0_DATA –> MFGNAME (or to the other location you specified during the installation of EzParts 5.0) and paste there copied folders (Edit –> Paste or press Ctrl+V on your keyboard).
  5. After this repeat the same actions with the second DVD.
